چکیده
To explore the causes of different growth rates among juvenile populations largemouth bass, in present study, a batch bass juveniles reared under same conditions were divided into fast-growing group and slow-growing group. We used histological, enzymatic molecular biology methods to analyze determine their histomorphological changes, digestive enzyme activity intestinal floral composition. The had significantly (p ? 0.01) greater fold height muscle thickness than Lipase was higher Intestinal microbial analysis showed that relative abundance Actinobacteria Halomonas This research shows differentiation is closely related status, lipase activity, flora.

Survival of Foul-Hooked Largemouth Bass(Micropterus salmoides)
We conducted a field experiment to determine the survival rate of foul-hooked (hooked external to the oral cavity) largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) caught and released by recreational anglers. Of 42 largemouth bass caught with hard-plastic baits containing three treble hooks, 15 were hooked only within the mouth and 27 had at least one hook penetrating the external surface of the fish (i...
متن کاملEffect of catch-and-release angling on growth of largemouth bass, Micropterus salmoides
Catch-and-release angling is popular in many parts of the world and plays an increasingly important role in management of recreational fisheries. Although the magnitude of catch-and-release mortality is well documented for many species, potential sublethal effects have been little studied. An experiment was conducted to assess directly the effects of catch-and-release angling on growth of large...
متن کاملThe growth of largemouth bass, Micropterus salmoides (Lacepede), under constant and fluctuating temperatures
Growth of largemouth bass, Micropterus salmoides, was tested under constant (1 5" C, 29" C) and cyclic ( I 8 h at 15" C, 6 h at 29" C) temperature conditions. Six groups of 10 fish each were tested; one group under each constant condition, and four groups in the thermocycles. The four latter groups differed in the timing of their feeding; one group each was fed at the start and middle of the wa...
متن کاملClimate–growth relationships for largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) across three southeastern USA states
The role of climate variability in the ecology of freshwater fishes is of increasing interest. However, there are relatively few tools available for examining how freshwater fish populations respond to climate variations. Here, I apply tree-ring techniques to incremental growth patterns in largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides Lacepède) otoliths to explore relationships between annual bass gro...
